award notification commission sent sweepstakes award letter for $2,000,000 asking for $11.89 plus $3.00 for "rush processing" kansas city, Kansas
On July 18th I received a sweepstakes award letter which assures me an award of $2,000,000 if I send ANC $14.89 in check or money order. It is signed by James Mallory which I suspect is a nonperson. It also states in very small almost illegible ink that if I HAVE and RETURN (which is circled so lightly that you can barely see it) the preselected winning number I am the winner. This is after the fact that they have stated that I in fact have been awared this sum. This is not confusing to me as I am an alert person who realizes that a true sweepstakes does not require upfront money and that this is a scam. I feel for the poor people who don't realize this as a scam; especially since the economy is so bad and everyone needs money badly.
