I had recieved a letter in the mail a couple of weeks ago, stating that i was one of seventeen people who had won an international lottery. I had called several times and I finally got ahold of someone. They verified all information on my paper work and told me I had to pay the taxes on it, they said I won 315,810.00 and the taxes were 4,800 dollars. The next day I recieved a fedex delivery with a travelers express money gram for $4,850. They wanted me to call as soon as I got the moneygram.

So I called and they told me that I had to cash it at the bank and send them $4,600 by western union. I did not go to the bank to cash it, instead I went to a check cashing store. The guy who was cashing it called travelers express and after a good 10-15 minute conversation he told me it was a fraud. He said he had those come through before but not for that much. He also told me that the money gram was real but if you looked closely at it you could see that they had erased the amount with some chemical and put the $4,850 amount in it's place. I called them back and told them that I had a problem, that the check store said it was a fake.
They told me I was supposed to deposit it in my bank acount.

After futher conversation with the guy at the store he told me that when you put it in your account, they clean you out. If anyone reads this I hope you don't fall for this like I almost did.
