Complaint Review: Axcess Long Distance Phone Company

I had the biggest shock with my latest Axcess long distance bill. Normally my monthly long distance bill hovers around $100-$150.

The May 2001 billing was a shocker until I looked carefully at the itemised portion of the bill as well as looked at my earlier bills.

I could not believe why they had so many 1 minute bilings of the same number 2 minutes apart followed by a chunk of billing time. It would seem to any smart person that the preceding 1 minute calls of the same number did not go through and that the call only went through with the later chunk of time.

I called Axcess' number for some answers. Guess what? The representative actually had the audacity to verify that they billed people even when the call does not go through! Talk about paying for service not rendered.
