I am currently enrolled at Axia College of University of Phoenix. I am in my second block of classes which have nothing to do with my major in business. I tried to withdraw from school two weeks prior to the beginning of my second block, but no one would return any of my calls or return my emails until three weeks into the class. When I told them I wanted to withdraw they came up with these reasons why I couldn't. One of the advisors even went as far as to say that they wasn't returning my financial aid back to the lenders and that if I kept contacting them they would file harrassment charges against me. I tried to transfer to another school but Axia refuses to give me a letter of clearance. I was told that I owe over 2,000 and if I didn't pay it I would never get into another college. They tricked me into enrolling, I thought I was getting information about the school and the next thing I know is I enrolled and was told to fill out FAFSA papers, they told me exactly what to put in each field of the application and which lender to choose for my funding. Now that I want to transfer, they're making it extremely hard for me. The classes that I have to take doesn't even make sense and will not prepare me for a future in business administration.

If anyone else has had similar problems please report it so we can stop this school for ripping off students.
