Complaint Review: Axia College Of UOP APOLLO GROUP WIU

Hi I joined Axia College/UOP June 2006 and I just recently withdrew April 16th 2007. From the begining I had difficulty with the finance department ....the classes are awful my very first instuctor did not grade any of my work until we were 5 weeks into the class. The instructors are not consistent with policy they all have a different version of what is called APA format. If I had known better i would have quit sooner.

I am now attending Capella University but Axia is holding a pell grant of mine of which they say still has another 30 days of processing it has already been over a month. They told me that because i quit Fafsa would ask for it back ...this is not so especially since the same day I withdrew from Axia I enrolled in Capella, I called Fafsa and they said the Axia should be disbursing me the money.

I have called over over and over again talking to several different managers in the finance department they all say that the money is always held for 30 to 60 days atleast so they make sure all transactions during my stay were paid for and correct.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get my pell grant from them, I wouldnt mind if it were only a little bit but they are withholding $1487.00 from me and thats after they charged me 600.00 for one week of class.
