i was solicted by e-commerce to open a web store. the crux of the sales pitch was that i would only need to sign on and process the orders received at my site.i had numerous conversations with the sales person to clarify and identify my safeguards if i were to undertake this business. i specifically asked about the time frame in which i could cancel, and was told that it was 30 days.

after a few days into this venture, i realized that e-commerce was doing nothing to promote the site and that i would have to totally market the site, which was not feasible considering the glut of www commerce. when i contacted my sales person at e-commerce to cancel, he told me i would need to contact axin finaincal directly to do that. when i spoke with them, i learned that there was no 30-day recission period, that the contract was non-cancelable.

further, the axin representative stated that if the e-commerce sales person had told me i could cancel within 30 days, then he lied. to date, i have had no sales activity on the site, and no further communication from e-commerce. they completely misrepresented the web business concept and the ability to cancel. further, axin is charging $4800 for a cookie-cutter software site program, which, i am sure, they could sell for much less.
