Due to a very satisfactory long-term purchasing history with this firm, I purchased a Pentium III SSEC processor that had to be returned. I received an RMA number, packaged the processor, filled out both "TO:" and "FROM:" address labels (with the RMA number indicated on the labels), and mailed the CPU back to the company via U.S. Postal Service FIRST CLASS. Believing this to be sufficient, I did not pay extra for a routing slip.

A week or so later, I called the compant regarding the credit and was told they had no record of having ever received the returned item.

After numerous calls to the Post Office, I was assured that, while FIRST CLASS letters sometimes get misplaced, FIRST CLASS packages do not.

Since the package has never been returned by the Post Office, and since the Post Office assures me that FIRST CLASS packages do not get misplaced, I maintain that the company has received the item and not paid attention to the label on the package.

In any event, despite a long purchasing history (including purchasing for my place of employment), the company steadfastly refuses to give credit and does not even seem to be bothered in the least that they will be losing not only me as a customer, but also my employer.

I will not recommend this company to anyone; in fact, I recommend NOT to do business with them, as they cleaqrly do not appreciate long-term repeat customers.
