Complaint Review: Axsys National Bank Aka Fingerhut

I had an original balance of $96.79 with Axsys National Bank for some pots and pans that I ordered from Fingerhut, I sent them the $96.79 in Feb 2003 and marked the check 'Paid in full'. They accepted the check and sent another bill for $21.00 for late and finance charges. This is illegal because they accepted the check in good faith, I looked the US Business 'good faith law' up on the internet and they have broke the law.

So I sent them another check for $25.00 overpaid by $4 marked 'paid in full' I sent them a bill for the balance they now owe me and stated that they would be charged $18.00 in late charges each month until they pay what they owe me! I have not heard from them since so I guess they kept my money!. I am going to continue billing them. I am reversing the charges on Axsys National Bank!

I have seen all the posts on here about this company has anyone though of organizing a 'class action lawsuit' against Axsys National bank? They should not be allowed to get away with this!

I am looking into getting a class action lawsuit against them.
