National Moving Network setup original moving contract. After getting down payment could never get a return call on the double the original quote for extra weight.
The original schedule for pickup was 6/30/2003. Movers finally arrived 7/3/2003 at 3PM with a Ryder truck and didnt finish the second trip to a storage area until 3AM.
The original quote was $1990 which now turned out to be $2849.00.

The estimated delivery time was 4 to 6 days. After 6 days I called AY transport and was told that the delivery had been delayed and would take another 4 days. In 4 days I called again and where my shipment was, I was told it was in transit and would be here Monday or Tuesday, which was again changed to Friday or Saturday. When I questioned the original 4 to 6 day estimate I was told that the contact specified 10 to 14 days. (This is not even in the small print) It has now been 21 days since they picked up my household goods and I still can not get an answer as to when or if my shipment will arrive.

I will update this report with the condition of the shipment if I ever see it again.

DONOT deal with National Moving Network, AY Transport or Progressive Van Lines,

This is just a scam company setup, all requests for information are ignored. Prices quoted are a joke. Buyer Beware

Applicable Transportation Charges- The charges a mover assesses for its services must be contained in a published tariff and the tariff must be made available to prospective shippers upon request. A carrier cannot assess a rate lawfully that is not contained in its tariff. If you feel that the mover has overcharged you, you can me toll free at (866) 254-1792 to obtain assistance with requesting a review of the charges assessed by the mover, and which were paid by you at the time of delivery of your shipment.
