I had a close friend/client that has almost lost everything due to a business deal with Alya Burnett, I am an attorney and I am working with my client to rectify the situation. I have done some checking on Ms. Burnett and the fraud resume' is LONG. Mortgage Fraud, Real Estate Fraud, and overall business practices that are enough to put small to large companies out of business. Here is a clip from an article I found online.
TBW had lodged a claim for $US11.6 million in losses after discovering several employees had accepted cash payoffs from a mortgage broker with regard to loans closed by TBW on condominiums in a development known as the Terraces of Riverwalk in Fort Meyers, Florida.
TBW also claimed that a woman called Ayla Burnett and her alleged co-conspirators fraudulently induced TBW to approve 26 other loans, totalling $6.8 million by inputting fraudulent information into its computer systems.
The syndicates have denied coverage for the losses caused by the alleged frauds for several reasons. They claim their policies exclude any loss involving any dishonest, fraudulent or malicious act or theft by any employee of the assured with certain exceptions.
