AZ Remodeling and Plumbing. Simon Leizbold, Regional Director Irresponsible and Unexcusable Management Practices of Regional Director Boca Raton, Florida
I bought a hot water heater 7/25/2015 from Sears in Jacksonville, Florida, and AZ Plumbing was the Sears contracted installment company. An extra $295.00 dollars later for AZ Plumbing's installation and I was good to go with a reputable Sears product. HOWEVER, a permit of inspection and certification of the technician's work, included in the purchase price from Sears, was to be forthcoming, and AZ Plumbing was responsible for this final piece of work. It is now 9/19/2015 and no inspection of the hot water heater almost 2 months later.
I made 3 calls to the Boca Raton regional office number talking with Rendi (?) and Paul at 877-981-8666 asking for assistance 9/1, 9/3, and 9/10, with follow-up guarantees made. One operator stated he was sending a "chat room message to the Jacksonville office" and I "would hear something in 30 minutes". NO FOLLOW-UP WHAT-SO-EVER!!! Finally I noticed on my receipt "If you are not 100% satisfied please call 561-305-2594 (Regional Director).
On 9/11, I called 561-305-2594, the Regional Director, and Simon Leizhold (sp) answered and promised follow-up--he asked that I send a detailed informational text, which I promptly provided.
Three inquiry texts later, and the Regional Director's response on 9/15 was "I have been out of town. Will take care of it tomorrow".
It is now 9/19 and I have not heard anything from this "Regional Director". This is unexcusable management practice, reflects very badly on Sears home appliance sales and service, and indicates There are legal terms to describe this man's (lack of) actions.
WHO WANTS TO HIRE A COMPANY SUCH AS AZ PLUMBING WITH A REGIONAL DIRECTOR WHO SETS SUCH A STANDARD OF SERVICE TO HIS CUSTOMERS????
I have since contacted Sears corporate, and plan to contact Florida State Consumer Affairs Division, the Better Business Bureau Bureau of Jacksonville and Boca Raton, and can only hope the Regional Director's "superior" (if there is such a person) reads this someday.
I have learned so much from this experience. Unfortunately, what I have learned is that AZ Plumbing's Regional Director displays unscrupulous business practice and a don't care attitude with his customers. HE SHOULD SET THE EXAMPLE OF EXCELLENCE IN HIS COMPANY OR LOOSE HIS POSITION. No customer's needs should be considered insignificant in any business. No promise of investigation for custmer satisfaction should be made when there is no intention of follow-up.
Two months later and I still do not have a hot water heater inspection of AZ Plumbing's work and accompanying paper work certificate.
