I filled out an online app for a un secured loan for someone with no or bad credit, i got a call from valarie torez from b and t loans saying i was approved for $5000.00 all i had to do was send in some info, drivers lic., ss card and recent pay stub for virifacation, then the finice dept would call with info on the deposit i had to make, to verify i capable to make payments and cover they'reasset on the loan. well i was supposed to make payment on friday 10/13/2006, the rep helping me calls me today, thrusday 10/12/2006, to virify and the number she's is calling from is registared to the totonto star newspaper- toronto canada. i called the rep and got the ole the number must have got crossed and they are alegit company, and she'll have someone else call to make sure i fell secure about the payment. well i did not receive a calll back and when i called them she was with a client and the person answering the phone could not give me a local (in new york ) number and when i asked for a physcial address in new york she hung up!!! lucky for me friday the 13th isnt gonna be a bad day, since i'am not gonna send the money. be warned b and t loans seems to be a fraudulant company, i had to change my bank acct. notify social security and the 3 major credit agencies, but at least i didnt lose any money, that i know of.
