B Central Direct placed a marketing call to one of our company's Board members, to approve the billing for their Search Engine services.

Our Board member asked twice if this bill was for a service our company had already received. The salesperson told her "yes" both times. So, she approved the billing.

Then they immediately called back with a billing confirmation call. This one they recorded.

I called the company, upon receiving notification of their bill for $400. When I pressed the issue that it was not a service we authorized, the representative (Dana Jones) said she would call me back in one week to play the confirmation conversation between the marketing salesperson and our Board member.

She did call back the next week and played the recording. I asked to hear the original sales call, but she said they "randomly record them." So, there is no record of the two times they lied to our Board member about the services being rendered.

When I asked to have the service canceled, since we had never used it, Dana told me that they would pro-rate the bill and cancel the service.

I simply refused to pay the bill. Our office manager had also previously sent a letter stating that we never received ther service and did not want it.

Be careful of this company!
