Complaint Review: B-Line Golf

B-Line Golf ripoff - Fraudulent charged credit card - Will not answer phone or respond to e-mail. Will not accept merchandise back. Fullerton California

In Dec. '04, a lady named Cookie with B-Line Golf called me several times for me to try out a new set of golf clubs for 45 days, with an extension on time if needed, and critique them. For that, I could keep the driver and 3-wood and return the rest.It would cost me only $19.95 for postage. I finally consented to do this and gave a credit card number for the postage of $19.95.

When my credit card statement arrived, they had charged me $19.95 for postage, as agreed, but also $898.00 for the clubs, which was not agreed to.

I called to question this and was told "you don't think that we are going to let you have a complete set of clubs with out some payment, do you?" and "your money will be credited back to you upon return of the clubs."

When the paperwork arrived after the clubs did, it stated that the clubs would not be accepted without a "return authorization number" on the outside of the box that would be issued by phone.

In approximately 40 days, I started trying to call for the RA number.All I get is voice mail with no response. One time Cookie answered and said that she had been with a sick son and granted an extension as long as I needed it. She reaffirmed that I could keep the driver and 3-wood. I have had no further conversation with anyone from the company since.

The office phone answers with voice mail that says "this is Jason, the owner of the company, call on my cell phone and I will return your call". The voice mail on his cell phone says "leave your name and number and I will return your call". Cookies voice mail says "Cookie is busy right now, but would love to talk to you. Leave you name and number and I will return your call".

I have called all three numbers repeatedly without results. I have also e-mailed them thru their web site with no response.

I feel I have be "RIPPED OFF" by B-Line Golf to the tune of $898.00.
