Complaint Review: Babbling Brook RV Park

If you happen to be thinking of staying at this place use extreme caution . My family and I stayed here for three nights and it turned into 3 days of hell. The Park layout to begin with is a joke RV's are very close to one another. This RV Park advertises water front site and yes there are water front sites all with signs that read "  No Swimming" "No Fishing". on the night that we arrived we seen an employee of this RV park assaulting a person at the park and was frightened to even stay but did . the next morn my 14 year old son was standing next to the river that is located  20 ft behind our site, I heard some yelling and went to see what was going on  and witnessed the same man who had assaulted the guest the night  before  screaming at my son accusing him of swimming in the water I tried to explain that he was not swimming he was simply  looking from the waters edge. my son went to the camper and  this man called to him  saying " If your gonna be a problem here Ill know about it  and you will pay for it "I tried to reason with this man and he was arrogant and unreasonable.My son who is a good kid was now afraid to move anywhere  without us. that night  at 2:30am our camper smoke alarm went off I awoke to find the electrical service box outside the rv was smoking thick black smoke, Gaylord Snyder who is either the owner or an employee not really sure showed up about an hour later and started yelling at the people in the camper next to us for apparently using an electric deep fryer accusing  them of causing the electrical trouble. Mr Snyder was abusive to these people and and made threats to harm the man . that night they hooked up to their trailer and left the park      

The next morning we requested a refund for our last 2 nights from Mr Snyder He started screaming at me telling me that there were no refunds and  it was not his fault that there were electric problems . we changed campsites to one of the many other empty sites cause we after all had paid for them.the next day after returning from fishing  I drove into the park and approached our campsite  Mr Snyder immediately came and started yelling at me saying that I was driving too fast through the park. I really did not go that fast as I did not even raise any dust on these uneven  unpaved roads ,we have been campers for years and know how to conduct ourselves . Mr Snyder continued to yell at me and accuse us of being trouble makers.At one point Mr Snyder reached his arm out with closed fist in an aggressive manner, At this point I had had enough of Mr Snyder and his RV Park and told him that we would be leaving within the hour. He cursed at me for another 20 minutes while my family and I started to pack our stuff into the camper.We left and found another campground in the area for our second week in the area.                 

Mr Gaylord Snyder in my opinion  should not be working with the public in 2 1/2 days time I witnessed him abusing three campers and my child verbally and threatened myself with physical injury. I am not sure if this mans actions are fueled by drugs, alcohol or pure hate but this man for our 2 days at babbling brookless RV park   was out of line and downright scary , explaining why of the 57 sites available that there was about 6 campers there  July 4th weekend. Mr Snyder should enroll himself in some sort of anger management  program or in the future someone is going to have him arrested and then that may change his attitude .
