"DO NOT USE THEM!!!" NATALIA IS THE TRAVEL AGENT THAT STOLE US$ 765.00 OF MY MONEY. THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND I DID NOT HAD A RESERVATION WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT.
I COULD NOT TRAVEL AND I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR ANOTHER TICKET. I TRIED TO CALL FROM THE AIRPORT AND THEY WERE CLOSED. NEXT DAY I WENT TO THE OFFICE, AND THEY DENY THEIR MISTAKE. THEY BLAMED THE AIRLINE, OF COURSE, AND DID NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.
I WENT TO CIVIL COURT, AND JOAO DE MATOS, THE OWNER OF BACC TRAVEL AND HIS CROOK LAWYER WENT THERE, AND DENIED MY SIDE OF THE STORY. I LOST THE JUDGEMENT AND MY MONEY.
DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE, THE EMPLOYEES WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND MAKE A LOT OF MISTAKE ON THE RESERVATIONS, THEN THEY DENY THEIR WRONGDOING.
I HAD TALK TO OTHER FRIENDS THAT BOUGHT TICKETS WITH THEM AND THEY ALSO HAVE COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS COMPANY

My name is Maurice Leao, I would like to bring attention to your web site officials that there is someone impersonating me on your web site.
I have never written anything against BACC or MR. JOAO DE MATOS.
MR. JOAO DE MATOS is a very admirable businessman and has done the best to promote great relations between the U.S.A. and Brasil. Mr. Joao de Matos is very honest and professional individual and I always used BACC for 30 years and never had any problems. BACC TRAVEL has the best deals and prices for anyone who wants to visit Brasil.
I WILL ALWAYS BE A CLIENT OF BACC AND RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

FALSE ACCUSATIONS, BACC TRAVEL 30 YEARS OF HONESTY

First and foremost, the amount of $765.00 that Mr. Mauricio is talking about has nothing to do with any story of an unconfirmed reservation or problems at the airport, as he stated. The reality is that Mr.Mauricio requested a refund of $765.00 for a ticket that he did not use because a family member passed away and he could not travel during the established dates, departure day August 13, 2006 and returning on September 04, 2006, CONFIRMATION # EGOGFY. He presented a death certificate to our agent Cristina, not Natalia, and we processed a full refund without applying any penalty. Just like the rules says.

Second, after the refund was processed Mr. Mauricio informed the agent, Cristina, that he cancelled the credit card that he paid the ticket with. Then, we explained to him how the refund process works. BACC TRAVEL submitted the refund information to the ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation), who in turn reports to the airline (TAM Brazilian Airlines). Both the ARC and TAM BRAZILIAN AIRLINES only refund to the original form of payment of the ticket. Natalia, who works in the Accounting Department, talked to Mr. Mauricio and informed him that in these cases the passenger should either talk to the credit card, or to the issuing bank and provide them proof of the refund that BACC TRAVEL submitted to ARC and TAM Brazilian Airlines.

Mr.Mauricio was provided with all legal documentation regarding the refund, such as proof that the refund was submitted; a confirmation code (ARN5-541734-3/341-58341254115-4) use for identification purpose between TAM Brazilian Airlines and the bank; we even gave him a copy of a sensitive report, the Sales Summary Report that is controlled by the ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation, the organization that supervises the transactions made by all travel agencies), which shows that the refund was processed and reported accordingly with rules and regulations. With all the information that we gave to Mr. Mauricio, I still received a Notice of Claim and Summons, dated September 10, 2007, to appear in small claim court on October 10, 2007.

In addition, in order to prove that BACC TRAVEL proceeded legally and within the ARC RULES AND regulations, I, Joao De Matos, personally appeared in court alone and without a lawyer, unlike what Mr. Maurice stated, and I presented all the documentation related to the refund. Mr. Mauricio said that he understood and would double-check to the credit card company. Also, I told Mr. Maurice that if there was something else that we could help him with, to contact me and the last time that I hear from Mr. Maurcio Cwas on October 18, 2007 at the civil court. The final judgment was in our favor.
