In theory, this (bad boy buggie) is a nice ride. Quiet, all electric, and a 4x4 with plenty of power. In the 6 months that I have owed it, it has been returned for repairs 3 times. Here are some of the problems so far.

1. Ignition burned out
2. Auto brakes quit working
3. Brake pads chewed up
4. Axle boots split
5. Hub and axle shafts Rounding out
6. Electrical switches inside buring up

I have had so many problems with this thing, you cant get it wet, or it will stop running, I am not talking about running it in a river, I am talking about rinsing the batteries off, too much moister in the air wet!!. I dont us this golf cart for 4x4ing so dont think its being abused, I have a marina resort that I use it on, it runs around on dry flat ground with a tiny trailer being pulled behind for trash. No abuse is done on it. I wanted it used for hunting, but a mud puddle would mean waiting an hour for it to dry out before it starts working again.

Be Very Aware before you buy one of these things. They need A lot of work done on them before they become reliable.

Well, thought I would update this.  Its been a few years now of owning this golf cart.  The axle in the meantime has broke 4 different times, we have went through 6 hubs on it, the company sent us smaller wheel spacers but we ended up taking them completely off and putting smaller tires on it to try to keep it from breaking again.  Remember, this cart is used to tow a tiny wood trailer to pick up trash on a resort, something we have been using regular golf carts for years without a problem.  We still can't run it when it rains and have to be very careful about mud puddles.  Every few weeks we spray the heck out of it with wd-40 to try to soften the squeaks and rattles. Every switch I had to replace with after market ones after the broke after about 2 years of owning it.  I ended up putting a heavy duty solenoid under the dash to keep the ignition from burning up again for the third time.   The only thing positive to say, it still runs.

Just wanted to let people know that we drove this thing 100 miles to have it fixed. The boot was fixed on it, but the month and a half that it took to do that it sat out in the weather, everything on it is rusted, even the headlights were full of water. We got it back about a month ago.

Problems that remain that were not fixed

1. Motor leaking oil over axle
2. Still stalls when hitting mud puddle
3. Very noisy, hubs still (squeek), They did not fix
The problem with the axle shafts being too weak, the hubs
wobble on the shafts, they just tightened them up.

1-10-07

Driver side rear tire, rim hub and all broke off. From what I see the hub wobbled enough to back off the center bolt, caught in a bind and snapped the axle shaft. Called the dealer, was told that the warranty was expired (paper work in hand says the warranty is good until the 30th of this month), after argueing with these people, they finally told me that the rear axles have been a problem because of the use of extensions for the wheels, said they will ship out some new (heavy duty) axles and hubs. We will see. So far in a year, this thing has been down for about 4 months needing parts, now we wait again.
