Complaint Review: badcredit-loans.us

I recently became disabled and my income has almost been cut in half as a result of my situation. My overall bills have increased and I have accumulated new medical bills as a result of my disability.

As a result, I was afraid I was going to start falling behind in my payments and my credit was starting to suffer because I had accumulated quite a bit of debt as a result of my situation. At first, I tried applying for personal loans at banks and credit unions and was turned down. I even hired a professional financial service to help me get a loan. As a result, I started researching alternate ways of accessing a loan. My family helped out as much as they could but, I did not want to keep relying on them for help.

I went online and I came across a website called: www.badcredit-loans.us I figured that this site would be able to help me and that they would have access to banks that would be more likely to lend money out to someone like myself. I paid the $69.99 for the service.

However, soon after I was able to make alternative arrangements regarding my financial situation. I really did not want to accumulate additional debt since I already owed quite a bit of money. I found a way to dig myself out of debt and have enough money to pay my bills, my medical prescriptions and put away some extra money in the bank.

I called my bank and they provided me with the number to this "company". I decided to call this "company" to ask for a refund since I never utilized their services. At first when I called, I was told that the number I had called was not the number to the actual company. I was told that the only means of communication with this 'company' was through an email address. The email address I was given was: loanagentbiz@yahoo.com. I suddenly felt very uneasy as I knew at that point this whole thing was a scam!

I sent an email to the email address politely asking for my money back. I had explained that I had not used their services. The individual emailed me back saying there would absolutley be no refunds! I knew at that point I would probably have to despute the charge with my bank. I informed the "merchant" of this and this individual immediately begain to esculate and told me that I had no grounds for a refund.

The conversation went back and forth with the "merchant" and I informed the individual that I had a right to dispute the charge and that I felt this 'company' was scam. When I informed the "merchant" that I was going to call my bank, the "merchant's" tone became threatening. The "merchant" stated that they had already called my bank and my bank was going to close my account. Further the "merchant" stated that they planned on launching an investigation against me and informing my employer of the situation.

When I contacted my bank and informed them of the situation, they immediatley stated that they would never have such a conversation with a "merchant" and stated that they believed that I had been a victim of fraud. The bank further encouraged me to file a dispute and close my account immediately. I followed thru with my banks suggestion as I had already informed the 'merchant' I would this very thing. I  indeed, filed a dispute with my bank and closed my account.

Afterwards, I did an internet search and found that this company had scamed many individuals and had insulted and threatened many "customers" in a similiar manner. I called my bank and forwarded this information onto them. I wanted to file a report regarding this "company" as well so that hopefully others will not have to deal with what I and many others have had to deal with! This "merchant" has taken my money and I received no services in return! I do not understand how this "merchant" continues to get away with scamming individuals as well as with insulting and threatening so many! How is this "merchant" able to continue to prey on vulnerable individuals such as myself? I wish that I would have done some research on this "company" before I bought into their scam. Lesson learned the hard way!!! However, I will continue to report this "merchant" to whomever will listen!!!!!
