Ballistechs claimed this in the auction (#6889709091):

"BRAND NEW 128MB 100pin SODIMM MEMORY FOR PRINTERS

This memory is for Brother, Dell, Kyocera, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Lexmark, Samsung, and Tektronix printers.
Manufacturer Part Numbers: C9121A, ML-00MD/XAA, 16H0059, MD-128, A0128009
Beware of other auctions selling used or reconditioned RAM."

It does NOT work in my Samsung CLP-500 color laser printer. I returned the 1st memory stick that Ballistechs sent me. I suggested twice to John Lepone to let me try the 64Mb SODIMM that I had heard 'might work' in my printer.

Ballistechs LLC sent me again the same memory, the one you see above this report. Of course, it didn't work. I told them by email AND over the phone. A man told me that they were going to call me next day. They simply didn't.

I know they received the 2nd non-working stick back, I paid a return receipt for it. I lost the money I paid for the memory, the shipping they charged me, plus the shipping and insurance I had to pay TWICE because of their incapacity to accept that the memory didn't work with 'some' of the printers they listed as compatible, mine included.

Several polite calls and emails to the company didn't help get any results. I left a stronger message the very last time, they deserve a lesson. I want my money back. It's a matter of principles. They can't advertise what's not true. Other people might be affected in the future.

You received the memory back, like new, in the very same way you shipped it to me, so you should have credited me the money instead of keeping it! As simple as that. Why don't you give me my dues back is left at this point to the discretion of the public opinion. By the way, when I last called you you promised reimbursement. Liar! Some similar reports are now filed against you. Plus perhaps some other affected customers that haven't reported their problem with Ballistech's here at Rip-Off.com. Pitiful!

We sent multiple replacements to this buyer. He kept asking for us to try and send products that he did not purchase, nor did he intend to purchase. Our products are brand new and tested from our supplier. It was determined that there was an issue with the buyer's hardware and not the multiple sticks of memory shipped to him. Communication ceased with the buyer.
