Bally, Daiwa, Asset Acceptance ripoff Warren Michigan
I received a notice of collection in the mail today from a company by the name of Asset Acceptance LLC from Warren, Michigan that it says is a subsidiary of Ballys/Daiwa. They are claiming I owe 487.35 for a health club membership contract that I signed back in 1988.... over 18 years ago !! Have they never heard of a statute of limitations ? I see that a LOT of people are having problems with this piece of crap company that obviously has no one working in their legal office that knows anything about business contracts and statutes of limitations for filing legal claims against an individual or company. If anyone knows about a class action lawsuit against this company for attempted fraud or harrassment, let me know.
