Bally's Total Fitness Bally's total rip off Liars, Tampa Florida
I met with a manager at the tampa, fl location in March of 2003. So usually you feel a little better that you're dealing with a manager but this lady lied right through her teeth with a big smile. Right before I signed I specifically asked her if I want to cancell what are the cancellation policies. And she said "you can cancel for free during the first 3 days." and then she didn't say anything else. so I asked and After that? She replied "It only Costs 50$ per person." Not you haver to be dead or disabled, or live 25 miles away or anything of this nature. Nothing but a straight faced lie.
Now of course I get 2 calls a day from FMS collection agency threatening a law suit it I don't pay $1800 for something I never used.
It just disgusts me. I would love to see a bunch of people file a class action lawsuit for this specific situation. I would join in a second.

The manager told you that you can cancel without any penalties within the first 3 days you sign your contract, or else you will pay $50 per person to cancel.
Did you ever cancel your membership? There is a huge difference between going to the manager and canceling your membership, and just not going. You still have to pay even though you don't go to the gym.
