We have been given information that we thought we would share with the student community in Baltimore: it is recommended that you thoroughly look around Baltimore before renting a unit at the Baltimorean Apartments.

We understand that Baltimorean Apartments, located at 2905 North Charles Street, close to the JHU Homewood campus, has serious maintenance, safety, and cleanliness issues. In fact, we understand that the Baltimore City Housing Inspection Unit has issued violations citations to the property owner / manager and that they would prefer to spend money on legal defense rather than fixing up the place. This information was given to us by members of the off-campus housing authority, and we felt compelled to write this post.

We also share these pictures as they have been shared with previous victims. Feel free to check out google reiew, and you will see that Baltimorean Apartments gets a failing grade.

Furthermore, we advise that you not trust Ms. Barbara Noppinger aka Bobbi. She is known to be dishonest.

Be careful as there are centipedes known to infest the building, among other bugs.

False Statements by Tiffany Montgomery

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thu, April 02, 2015

The individual who wrote this report (Tiffany Montgomery) has filed multiple unfounded lawsuits against our company, and others, since January 2014.  She has lost every one of these cases because her claims our false.  She claims that there were damages to her personal property caused by a water leak in her apartment.  There was a major water leak caused by a broken water pipe in her bathroom (the picture she posted was of the repaired water pipe before the floor was installed).  There was no water damage to her apartment or any of her personal belongings.  All of the water from this broken pipe went into a public restroom located below her bathroom and caused a major flood in that area, requiring extensive repairs.  The repairs in her apartment, including replacing and rerouting the water line and replacing the floor, were completed in about a week.  During that time, she was given temporary use of another vacant apartment in the building.  She then refused to return the keys to the new apartment and decided to move in there, refused to move out at the end of her lease and failed to pay rent, resulting in an eviction.  Both apartments were inspected by a Baltimore City housing inspector on more than one occasion and passed.  Her statements about insect infestations in the building are false, as well as her statements that I (Barbara Noppinger) am dishonest.
