Julie Angelloz is not breeding for the right purpose AT ALL. I purchased a kitten from her a few years ago and let me give some history about me. I am a former bengal breeder myself but after having my son I had to retire from breeding (too much work with a new baby). Once you've owned a bengal you are 'IN LOVE' with the breed. My son was 2 years when my husband passed away and we moved, in the interim I had to find homes for all my cats:(  Eventually I was ready to own another bengal again now that my son and I were getting settled into a new home. I did my research and decided to go with Bambusabengals.. We got a BEAUTIFUL boy from her and SUPER SWEET TOO> My son and I adored 'Oscar' to pieces.

However, within the year Oscar started losing weight, after several vet visits and expenses the vet determined he had feline leukemia. I was devestated. We tried everything to battle it but Oscar passed. I contacted Julie and asked whether her other cats had been tested and she said yes they were negative. I had NO other cats. She agreed to replace the cat as that is what most respectful and ethical breeders do, (remember I use to be one). Still it was hard considering we were attached to him and I was nervous about another cat from her, aside from the fact I paid over $2,000 for the purchase, shipping and vet bills for poor Oscar. Time went on and I was anticipating another cat, everytime I would ask Julie about litters she said she had nothing abvailable, yet her website showed cats available. Hmm.. So finally, she would offer the worse kitten in the litter to me, I was upset and explained I had purchased a top pet from her. She was angry and didn't care. I agreed to take that kitten she offered but within a few weeks she said the kitten died. She did this to me 2x. I was furious needless to say.

I wrote an email out of emotion and watching my son cry about missing Oscar, after I explained my son just lost his Dad and now his new cat!!!!!  No words can describe what I felt during that time. All of this I explained to her but no sympathy from Julie. After I hit send on a bit of a nasty email about what I felt she was doing to me, she responded with "find another breeder to get a bengal cat from then"....UMMMMM, no other breeder has the responsibility of making this right but her! What about all the money? A year went by and I sent her an email asking if she could replace the kitten now for a small fee. She was going to let me have another kitten for $400 plus $250 for shipping... UGH another $750??? I am NOT NOT NOT going to do that. This is completely unfair and heartbreaking to my son and I. I would suggest nobody go through what I have. DO NOT PURCHASE A KITTEN FROM HER. She doesn't deserve your money or to breed cats.

It makes me sad that people can use these animals for the sole purpose of making money. If you run a business, any business, your customers keep it going. You HAVE to do what is fair, ethical, moral, and it will survive soundly. Business is business. However, when you provide a sick cat for that amount of money, refund the customer or replace that cat. Either way should be the discretion of the customer for the hassle and emotional impact.
