I went to Bank One, whom I had been doing business with for years, for financial planning. I was deceived by Bank One' employees, mainly by the branch's chief financial advisor, Calvin Turpin. Turpin told me he usually worked with his associate, an attorney Michael Caine, who worked with him sucessfully on many Bank One Customers account for years. He told Bank One covered all areas of finances and Caine was very bright and highly qualified. He said Caine was good and this was why he was bringing him in on my account. Turpin arranged a meeting that included Caine, a non-bank employee ( which I did not know). Caine was late for the appintment and did not sign in when he came into the branch and was buzzed through by a bank employee. The employees greeted him and seemed to know him. We used a bank's office where Caine and Turpin gave financial advice and set up my accounts. Caine charged a high fee that Turpin said was reasonable for the services, but that the price included future services too. Well, Caine turned out to be a rip-off artist, not only was I overcharged, but he did not do the services he was paid to do and the very little he did do (after my complaint), proved he was extremely incompetent. After I made a formal complaint to Bank One, Turpin was no longer employed there. he went to work for H.R. Block and later Comerica Bank. Bank One stonewalled for months, then refused to give me the results of their investigation or acknowledged anything, instead they said my complaint was only against Caine-not them. I believed Turpin and Caine schemed together to rip me off. I am embarassed to admit this, because I believe I should have been smarter. However, I don't think they should get away with it and hope that others will come forward or be warned and learn for my mistake.

What a loser!!!! Caine handed you his business card and it certainly did not say bank one.  Reading is fundamental.  You came into the bank with lawsuit money hoping to find another sucker to file suit against.  The bank and the Michigan Bar Association found no merit to your complaint.  You are a lawsuit loser and you need to find another occupation.

Beware of this one, she will file suit even when it's clear that you are helping her.
