Don't forget to 'Google' this- WHO OWNS THE FED?, and go to the site with the 5 charts and pay close attention to all of the Wall Street banks and other companies that are listed. Several of them received TARP (taxpayer's money) in order to stay afloat. Lehman Brothers is listed in 'Chart 1'. They were one of the companies mainly responsible for the 'meltdown' in our banking system back in 2008.

P.S. These are only my opinions.

It's called the right of offset. How many times do I have to post about this? DO NOT have your business AND personal accounts WITH THE SAME BANK. You should have opened up a seperate account with a different, new, small credit union to have his unemployment claim deposited into. AS soon as there was any money in ANY of your BoA accounts, they were gonna grab it. As a matter of fact, they would grab ANY money in ANY account YOUR NAMES or SSI's were on, be it your kids or relatives, family or friends, as long as you were on it, the accounts were fair game. You also have to pay attention to all these banks that are being taken over by other banks, the same thing applies. If you owe WaMu and have money in Chase and Chase takes over WaMu, Chase will grab that money cause now they own Wamu. That's why it's a good idea to use a small credit union that isn't gonna be taken over. MAKE SURE and have his next unemployment claim deposited into a new account, otherwise the same thing is just gonna happen again. The banks could care less where the money came from or what it's for.
