WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!

Anyone who banks or does any kind of business with BANK OF AMERICA- BEWARE!

I had a fire claim in where the insurance company issues the money to the bank and the bank holds it and disperses as per a draw schedule OR percentage of completion of repairs DEPENDING on whom you speak to that day at BOA. You can honestly call about the same situation (which I have) and each poorly trained representative will tell you a different story, NO LIE! I have had the WORST experience with this bank and trying to rebuild my home. It was a bad enough experience- but then to get money out of these people that they have been holding for TWO years from my insurance company is an absolute HORRIBLE experience.

At this point I am 85% complete from rebuilding my 335,000 home in where the bank is still holding $12,000.00 of the $118,000 I received- Do the math- we are out of pocket a lot more than they are holding. I have paid the mortgage ON TIME for TWO years not living on the property- and still get a hard time??? I have submitted another draw schedule to reflect what was left and told this is what I need to do to get money dispersed according to the contractors request (as per a representative at BOA) Still nothing- I have sent in receipts showing that I have spent more money than I was given by the insurance company (as per a representative at BOA) and guess what STILL NOTHING. I have sent in the completion of repairs to show that I am at least 90-95% complete (as per a representative at BOA) and guess what- STILL NOTHING- I have spoke with floor managers (GWENDLYN LAWRENCE and BRIAN) last week who told me she was putting a request in to have at least a percentage of what was left so I can pay the contractor and guess what- SHE NEVER DID IT- I mean talk about inconsistencies and being lied to!!! This is prime example!

I cannot wait to get this house done and get a new bank because this has been the WORST experience ever! If I can assist anyone with the dispersement process at this bank--- I am not even sure what the advice would be, because taking names and numbers and talking to managers sure does not help. These people are the most poorly trained representatives EVER! I also wonder if they made any kind of interest off the money sitting there- it should go back to the insurance company if so!!!

Your Ripoff Report is a reflection of how the entire publicly held banking system and our government operate, in my opinion.

Our system in America is corrupt and broken. Yet the executives at the publicly held banks, and the politicians in the USA, continue making their salaries and bonuses, right? It's no wonder people all over America and all over the world are speaking out against the corrupt system, known as Wall Street and the U.S. Government.

It certainly is a shame that we have inept people working at every level of the banking system, along with inept people working at every level of the U.S. government, wouldn't you agree?

Make sure to spread your Ripoff Report all over the web at sites like Twitter and Facebook.

Good luck to you.
