FUEL TAX EVASION HIGHLIGHTSA Report on the Activities of theJoint Federal/State Motor Fuel Tax Compliance ProjectU.S. Department
of TransportationFederal Highway AdministrationVolume 6, Number July 1997IN THE NEWS
Four men and 1 woman have been indicted in a Federal investigation into a 3-state fuel tax scam. Arrested and charged are John Doherty, with conspiracy and falsifying tax records; James Gaudet, with conspiracy; Douglas Hatter, with 2 counts of perjury; and James Lee, with conspiracy. Ann Gaudet Young is a fugitive. The Advocate, Baton Rouge, LA, 1/13/97David H. Werdine of Schmock Oil Corporation, Michigan City, IN, was arrested on charges of failing to remit fuel taxes. The Indiana Department of Revenue's Criminal Investigation Division uncovered Werdine's blending scheme where he mixed kerosene with diesel fuel, charged the customers the fuel tax, but did not report or remit the taxes on the kerosene. The alleged acts took place in 1993, 1994, and 1995. He is charged with 28 counts of failing to remit special fuel tax, failure to pay taxes on blended fuel, and theft. If convicted, he could face from 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison and a possible fine of $10,000 on each count. Indiana Department of Revenue, 1/15/97; Oil Price Information Service, 2/28/97
Dana P. Brewer, president of Petroglobe Inc., was sentenced to 2 years in prison for failure to pay approximately $1 million in fuel taxes. He was convicted on May 13, 1996, of conspiracy to defraud the Treasury during 1993. Brewer admitted to falsely representing Petroglobe as being registered with the IRS so he could buy diesel without paying the tax up front. He then purchased nearly 5 million gallons of fuel which Petroglobe and a second company, Hiway Enterprises, sold tax paid. Youssef Kamel Keroles, owner of Hiway, was convicted of conspiracy and sentenced to 27 months in prison and 3 years supervised release, and to pay a $45,000 fine and $864,315 in restitution. Peter J. Nudo, CFO for Petroglobe, was convicted of corruptly obstructing and impeding the IRS. Business Wire, 1/14/97Carroll R. Moore, former owner and operator of Moore's Waste Oil Service in Chesapeake, VA, was sentenced to 180 days home detention, 3 years probation, $2,700 restitution to the IRS and a $100 special assessment. Moore pled guilty to charges that he knowingly marketed "off-specification" oil and failed to report income derived from the sales. The off-spec oil was sold through Domestics Industries Corporation of Virginia, a home heating oil business, as heating oil from August 1990 through July 1992. William "Buddy" Jones (Father of Elizabeth Jones Dudley Bank of America SVP) and 3 others were convicted on various charges relating to the theft of oil and a scheme to fraudulently supply contaminated and off-grade fuel. The investigation was conducted by the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (OIG, DOD), the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the FBI and IRS. Audit assistance was provided by Defense Contract Audit Agency. Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense, 1/15/97 http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/policy/hl97jul.htm

i've watched this thread. The woman involved had an affair for several years and was weak in the workplace. At the end she was over her head.

She likes to place the blame on others while she was the center and the start of the storm. Selfishness, while falsely appearing to have many benefits, actually turns the person in upon himself/herself, thereby interfering with healthy self-giving which is essence of marital love.  Subseqently, this personality weakness creates significant pain and suffering in marriages and families. It is a major cause of marital anger, permissive parenting, addictive behaviors, infidelity, separation and divorce. Unless it is uncovered and addressed, selfishness will lead spouses to treat loved ones as objects and not as gifted persons.

She is a person that socially is outgoing but behind closed doors relies on ADD meds and sleeping meds . i know this because I'm friends with one of her friends. The family is rather pathetic - A sadsack pathetic husband and a very spoiled kid.

this lady looks 50 but has tried to act like a 16 year old... She lies and NO ONE should  be allowed to believe or fooled by what she says... Charlie Sheen talked about trolls and in the workplace she looked after her friends #1 while trolling thru the ranks, Who knows how many affairs she has had. Her emotional  and nutcase thinking changes daily like the wind.

i can't see anyone taking her serious with a job unless it's cleening windows.

Bank of America Refuses Customers Request to Close AccountsOctober 16, 2011 03:40 AM EDT3 people recommend this | comments: 10Bank of America refused to allow customers to close their bank accounts Saturday because they where members of Occupy Santa Cruz. Management at the bank told the two women who attempted to close their accounts that they could not be protestors and customers at the same time. Ok, read that again. You can't be a protestor and a customer at the same time! Since when can a bank, who is holding a person's money, tell said customer when they are allowed to be a customer?

Rusty,

We are looking into this matter.

From the first transcripts it's obvious this woman comes from a criminal and dysfunctional family background.

Her father was federally indicted and served prison time and word is her mother remarried a man that is her daughters age.

This looks to be a SVP that slipped thru the cracks.

Are there any photos of children with any or all of these individuals taken in a casual and fun activities?

Has anyone lied in court? That is considered contempt of court lying to a judge. If this is and will be proven (a few months huh?)... More like a few years in 3 different states.

Have fun wiggling out of this one...Everything went like it should have , you talked yourself into a great big hole.

It was all staged and you played the part we thought you would have played.

Don't expect Bank of America to be America's neighborhood bank for long.

#51General Comment

Thu, October 06, 2011

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Don't expect Bank of America to be America's neighborhood bank for long.Late Tuesday, the Charlotte, N.C., bank announced a shakeup in its executive ranks that effectively split the bank into two units: one serving consumer and one serving commercial clients. Hundreds of bank branches are expected to close.Industry analysts say Chief Executive Brian Moynihan's moves signal that broader and deeper layoffs than those previously announced by the bank could be imminent. In what the bank called a "de-layering", Moynihan put two senior executives -- David Darnell and Tom Montag -- into the roles of co-chief operating officers. Two of 13 senior executives -- Joe Price, the head of the banks consumer and small business banking division and Sallie Krawcheck, the head of wealth management -- were said to depart immediately. With the removal of Krawcheck and Price, Moynihan effectively eliminated about 13% of his senior staff.Investors cheered the changes. Bank of America's (BAC, Fortune 500) stock rallied roughly 5.6% to $7.38 Wednesday. Still, even with a modest rally, the bank's shares are down 44% this year.Outraged at banks over mortgages? Don't stop there. It's been rumored for several weeks that Bank of America could announce headcount reductions of 30,000, or 10.5%, of its 285,000 employees.Bank of America recently announced 3,500 layoffs to be completed by Sept. 30, in addition to 2,500 layoffs enacted earlier this year. A spokesperson declined to comment further."[Moynihan] has sent the markets a strong message by showing that he's reorganizing and streamlining the company from the top down and setting the bar at a much higher level for deep cuts," says Marty Mosby, an analyst at Guggenheim Securities. Most of the cuts at Bank of America are expected to come from its unit focused on consumer banking. The bank is expected to shutter up to 600 branches. At its investor day in March, Price had previously said that Bank of America, which had 5,742 branches as of June 30, could close some 10% of its branches "or maybe something less, slightly less than that over time."By moving Darnell -- one of the company's top commercial bankers -- into the top spot on the consumer-focused area, Rochdale Securities banking analyst d**k Bove says Moynihan is putting someone in charge who can focus solely on cutting staff from that division without any personal conflicts."They need someone to shepherd the reduction in retail banking in, and Darnell doesn't have any personal commitments to people on the consumer side of the business," says Bove.In its press release announcing management changes, Moynihan said that Bank of America also plans to announce Phase II of what it calls "New BAC," or a new and improved version of the embattled bank, in October.Analysts say that the company's mentions of streamlining and assessing efficiencies are thinly veiled references to impending cutbacks in staff and locations.Amid the staffing issues, BofA is also dealing with massive litigation problems. Back in June, the bank proposed an $8.5 billion settlementwith investors in mortgage-backed securities -- stemming from troubled real estate loans made by Countrywide Financial, which BofA acquired in 2008.The agreement was meant to settle with 22 investors, including the world's largest bond fund, Pimco (PTTRX), and the New York branch of the Federal Reserve. But the agreement is subject to court approval, and it's facing opposition from state attorneys general, members of Congress and smaller investors. Last week the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. filed an objection to the settlement.Analysts say that Moynihan granted Darnell and Montag the title of chief operating officers to highlight their direct control of the two main operating centers. Moynihan can focus more clearly on litigation and stemming losses from Countrywide's mortgages."Moynihan's legacy really comes down to whether he can make progress over the next year or two on its residential real estate issues," says Mosby. "The board is saying, we need you focused on our overhang legal and financial issues."

Buh-bye, Bank of America

#51General Comment

Thu, October 06, 2011

Buh-bye, Bank of America?Bank of America is willing to alienate customers over a new $5 monthly fee.By MSN Money partner on Fri, Sep 30, 2011 4:16 PM40You recommend this85%You don't recommend this15%Shared 54 timesThis post comes from Jon Gorey at partner site The Street. Bank of America said Thursday it will begin charging customers $5 a month to use debit cards. Much like Netflix's recent gaffe of hiking prices for a service people have come to expect-- without actually adding any value to the service -- Bank of America appears ready to throw away loyal customers over a paltry $60 a year. The bank insists the move is necessary to make up for lost revenue as a result of new regulations. The Durbin amendment in the Dodd-Frank Act caps the amount of money banks can charge merchants for debit card transactions. As you probably know, when you use a credit card or debit card to pay for a dinner out on the town, a new TV or a cup of coffee, the issuing bank keeps a small share of the transaction -- not unlike Ticketmaster's "convenience fee," but far less egregious. That's why credit card companies offer reward points: They're skimming 2% to 3% of every sale, so those kickbacks are really coming to you courtesy of your local restaurant, Best Buy or Dunkin' Donuts. Because of the new regulations, banks are now limited to charging merchants a maximum of 21 cents per transaction, plus 0.05% of the sale, on debit cards. This helps retailers small and large -- witness furniture superstore Ikea, which now offers some customers a 1% store credit when they use a debit card instead of a credit card -- but obviously cuts into a revenue stream that banks had grown accustomed to. And Bank of America isn't the only bank taking this step: Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase are experimenting with the idea as well. Still, really? I've been a more-or-less satisfied Bank of America customer for years -- which I figure is as good as you can hope for when dealing with a massive financial institution -- and because of its "Keep the Change" program, I've been conditioned to use my debit card to pay for just about everything: coffee, lunch, gas, clothes, groceries -- you name it. Wall Street has worked hard to persuade us to use debit cards instead of cash. In a series of Visa ads, out-of-it customers who pay with cash throw a monkey wrench into the well-oiled cogs of commerce. Now they're telling us we're a drain on their finances? Because of a habit they helped create? I've jumped through Bank of America's direct-deposit and minimum-balance hoops, and I even keep a decent chunk of savings languishing in my account to avoid their fees, even though it's earning next to nothing in interest. Between my rampant debit card use and the nearly interest-free loans they're able to make with my money, they've been banking on me for several years. And, now, they're willing to throw all that away over an extra $5 a month? Because, let's face it: If they start reaping a $5 fee from me for something I can do elsewhere for free, I'm gone. Done. I've left plenty of banks over smaller transgressions. There are local banks, and online-only options like ING Direct, that will happily accept my reliable 21 cents or more a day as I swipe my way across town. (Thank you, competitive free market.) The only other explanation I can think of is that Bank of America is trying to spark enough public backlash that lawmakers are forced to change the bill. It seems unlikely, but if BofA is bluffing, I'd consider sticking with them. But if not? Count me out.

Private Payrolls Up 91K Says ADP, Bank Of America Cuts Lead Layoff Spike

#51General Comment

Wed, October 05, 2011

In a less upbeat read on the jobs market, Challenger Gray & Christmas tallied 115,730 announced layoffs in September, the worst month in more than two years. Bank of America was a primary culprit. Embroiled in a swirl of litigation tied to shoddy mortgages and in the midst of trying to reshape its business, the bank said in September it would cut 30,000 workers over a few years aimed at generating $5 billion in annual cost savings. The cut from BofA and cuts from the U.S. Army accounted for about 70% of the layoffs, which means the surging  headline figure is not reason for panic over the economy. According to CEO John Challenger:Neither of these cuts is directly related to recent softness in the economy. The Bank of America cuts are the result of continued fallout from the housing market collapse and restructuring effort to remake the bank into a smaller, more nimble institution. The military cuts are the result of drawing down forces in two wars and cost-cutting efforts in all areas of the federal government.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveschaefer/2011/10/05/private-payrolls-up-91k-says-adp-stocks-seesaw

The biggest lender in U.S. Bank of America decided to close one of its mortgage units in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Bank of America spokesman Terry Francisco said the lending unit is for sale since August 31 but without a buyer, the management is determined to shut down the activity by the end of this year. One of the companies said to be interested in buying the division was Fortress Investment Group, but the negotiations failed because of a disagreement regarding the selling price.

The mortgage division was purchased by Bank of America in 2008 from Countrywide Financial Corp and last year it has accounted for $180 billion worth of home loans, almost half of the bank's mortgage volume.

Bank of America has been trying for a while now to stream its operation in an attempt to focus on its principal banking business. It all started with CEO Brian Moynihan's plans to make the financial institution as lean as possible by all means possible, including 30,000 layoffs. The plan become official as "The New Bank of America Program" and it was designed to make the bank easier to manage by becoming smaller and more focused on its core business. Through merging legacy data centers, deposit systems and all sort of other assets, the bank should be able to save $5 billion.

America's biggest lender, the bank with the largest assets in the country is closing and selling divisions, is trying to cut costs. Is this an attempt to prepare for the hard times to come?

A few days ago, Bank of America announced it will introduce a $5 monthly fee for debit card usage. Officials explained this was the banks way to protect itself from losing $2 billion in revenue per year, because of the new rules drafted by the Federal Reserve Boards. However, this fee isn't the first mandatory expense for the bank's customers and it's common sense to expect a significant number of clients taking their accounts to smaller, more convenient banks.Plus, an aspect that will make clients reconsider their accounts at Bank of America is that the debit-card usage fee will be mandatory only for the standard checking accounts, meaning 58 million consumers and small businesses. This will surely make the bank even less popular among customers. Only 3 days ago in Boston, 3,000 people marched on Bank of America.

You're trying to project power that you don't really have.  That's funny, because it took you a full week to come back and submit a series of disjointed rants that don't amount to much more than posturing vitriol.  Your response is quite telling.  You're uncomfortable and amid your confused antagonism is the offer that you'll stop what you're doing if I, er - I mean Elizabeth - stops what I'm doing.  Also, there's the threat that if Elizabeth doesn't stop what I'm doing, you're going to escalate your already atrocious behavior.

I'm no more a lawyer than I am Elizabeth but I think your actions might be converging on the legal definition of blackmail.

Doesn't matter cause the subpoena's have come back from Face Book which confirm ABBY is you and  these are in an envelope addressed to the correct folks - Do you want to fight? Do you really want to go the distance cause I've yet to break a sweat or lose any sleep. When a door closes a much prettier younger door w/ a better much better job that's not in employment jeopardy opens.

End it. Accept it. And all will remain quiet (including anything passed around at a Great Bridge Football Games - Or and ODU games) You see there are many involved now and you can take the high road and waive a white flag and just continue to not matter as a person anymore or keep on keeping on with your idle threats and let the hurricane blow all around you. You must be female, white, between 30 & 45 years of age.  I suspect you're a bit over-weight, have had issues with drinking, and were raised in a single parent home and/or a home where dysfunction was prevalent.  I'm thinking you're a pack to two pack-a-day smoker, too.  You're constantly angry and the affect of that keeps people tip-toeing through any number of emotional land-mines that could explode, at any moment.  Do you have skin problems, too?  Probably acne scars and years of passing out with make-up on.  You attended college and were a mediocre to average student, capable of learning the material, but too lazy to apply yourself, fully.

You notice how uncomfortable people feel around you and view it with a sense of pride, bordering on arrogance.  You believe it gives you power.  People who fear you, you can control.  If they get too close, you can push them away.  If they're too far away, you can pull them closer.  You can almost always prevail in interpersonal or professional conflicts because people will back down, quickly, and if they abandon or betray you, there is no measure of your rage that will go unheard.

People around you are right to be afraid of you.  Behind your back, you're widely regarded as a bully who will fly off the handle for no reason, at all.  Nobody trusts you and they tolerate you because they have to.  Perhaps you're in a position of power at work.  Perhaps you frequent a popular bar.  Both?  It doesn't matter.  People have to put up with you.

How am I doing, so far?

I've been working out people and their motivations, on the internet, for a really, really long time and with a very consistent record for unveiling the secrets they're trying to keep.  I've even been posting, here, since long before you started.  I don't even live anywhere close to Virginia, let alone either Chesapeake or Richmond.

Above a post was made that this is not AUTHOR: Eddie zilker - Mt. Pleasant (U.S.A.) but a person who lives near mt.pleasant road in Chesapeake VA... Why Hide your identity?

First off, I've lived in Great Bridge all my life. I go to the ball fields you go to and my kids go to the same school your son goes too. I see you all the time and know everyone you know.

You have turned yourself (alone) into a joke of the town. You admit above you had an affair (cheated on your husband)... You toss the word garbage around but have you been in some seedy hotel rooms over the past few years? Garbage? Hmmmm..Think about it.

Your posts are confounding, disturbing, dither, dumbfounding, embarrassing and a HUGE embarrassment to yourself. GUILT is the one word that defines your posts.

Why are you attacking me? I've done nothing to you. You seem to either love drama or have a problem with your emotions. Are you taking too many meds? Or Not enough?

As far as the friends in your circle , they are laughing their asses off at the way you have conducted yourself. Once a cheater, always a cheater. And cheaters are capable of other bad things as well.

Get a GrIP Girlfriend! And stop attacking us locals for your mistakes!

I think it's fairly apparent that you're not a concerned citizen or parent or anyone with a legitimate grievance with the person the myriad reports on her subject concern.  You have shown up, here, with numerous photographs of her which appear to be personal.  You've made flimsy insinuations about her character.  Finally, you've created multiple user accounts with which to facilitate your vendetta.

It's not just clear that this and the other reports are invalid, insubstantial and irrelevant.  It's also clear that you're a laughable coward who, for whatever reason, didn't get their way and resorted to attempting to create a false controversy in order to enact revenge against Mrs. Jones-Dudley.  The intention to humiliate her is evident.  Your ability regarding that intention, however, is pitiable and downright pathetic.

I am a worried parent after reading this material and knowing the folks involved. my sons know their sons... What's the deal? You're no more a worried parent than I am an astronaut.  If you were a worried parent then you'd be an absolutely incompetent worried parent to find any of the ginned-up controversy, regarding Mrs. Dudley-Jones, credible enough to sign up and actively participate in the discussion.  No one but you cares enough about the fact that Dudley-Jones apparently has a connection to someone engaged in a fuel-tax evasion scheme.

That raises the question of what sort of acquaintance you are with Mrs. Dudley-Jones.  Perhaps - and I'm only speculating about her character, here - she told you or someone else that she was embarrassed that her father was involved and, possibly, would even be mortified if that information ever got out.  Perhaps there was some moment where she exposed her innermost, private thoughts and, in so doing, made a gigantic mistake regarding who she chose to trust.

In the plausible scenario I've suggested is the only real misstep Mrs. Dudley-Jones should be ashamed of.  That anyone should find such a confidence betrayed should be a reason to look inward to find and hide the diamonds of one's character which attract the walking, talking monumental heaps of manure, such as yourself, who masquerade as human-beings that have the capacity to be trusted, in the first place.

Freedom of speech - May I be able to have a word without a witch hunt and group hanging from others I know nothing about. I was just shocked when I read a post about infidelity and the a man in an oil scheme whose daughter happens to be from Great Bridge and a high level position with a well known bank.

That's rich, right there.  A witch hunt?  Freedom of speech?  A witch hunt is precisely the mechanism you've tried to employ and with strikingly disastrous results.  What is tremendously funny about it is that it has so horribly backfired with so many inadvertent leaks about who you really are, that I suspect it would take her, if it already hasn't, all of three minutes to work out the person responsible for the now public nightmare you've so meticulously, unintentionally, and stupidly created for yourself.

You've tried to turn this into a public-relations debacle for Mrs. Dudley-Jones, yet have the utter temerity to accuse anyone else of doing the same, to you.  The people doing so are only pointing through your absurdly transparent veil of plausibility, yet you're incapable of even realizing how much of a sham your efforts amount to.  You invoke freedom of speech when the speech, freely expressed by others, deflates your poorly sewn subtext of immorality by association; that could never, in a million years, stand on its own.   It's preposterous that you seek a freedom's protection in order to be protected from it.  The mental gymnastics you're capable of is truly astounding.

You are the Mary Lou Retton of self-deceit.  Your belief that you would somehow succeed in an endeavor so preposterously hypocritical, if not ill-conceived, speaks volumes about how immature and foolish you really are.  I've no doubt you're aged, well into adulthood, but you never really graduated from the eighth grade, psychologically.  You probably present, given first impressions, as a likeable, thoughtful person but inside, you're a mess and, like your vendetta against Mrs. Dudley-Jones, your presentation is merely a charade created in order to get the attention you feel you deserve without putting anything but a misplaced sense of entitlement up for exchange.

This, of course, returns to the question of why you're doing this.  I suspect it's because Mrs. Dudley-Jones got to see who you really were and when she didn't like what she saw, in some way, put you out with the garbage.  It's not because you have a legitimate grievance with her.  If you did, that would be apparent.  More to the point, I think you're attempting to do to her, what you feel she did to you.  You're trying to expose her, using the one piece of information she may have actually felt impugned her character - a family secret either she didn't want divulged or that you mistakenly thought publicly associating with her would cause her misfortune.

It's pathetic.  The more you post, the more pathetic it gets.  You can plead that you're the "concerned citizen, parent, et al" all you want.  There's no integrity to what you post.  It lacks any essential credibility.  Furthermore, it's inept.  Keep posting.  Keep trying to refute.  It's a permanent, public record that people, in the mutual circle of acquaintances and friends you and Mrs. Dudley-Jones share, will laugh at because it is so unintentionally funny, pathetic and downright stupid.

I think we may finally have a reason for all of these posts.

Lisa, Louis, Claire, Worried Parent apparently you don't know how this site posts reports and it is fairly easy to link them all together as being from probably one person.  As such I think we may finally have a reason for the multiple posts.  They all showed up right around the same time as this report on the layoffs was published.  Perhaps you are one of the people getting cut.    If so I hope everything works out for you.  But posting what is basically nonsense not only doesn't do any good, if the people can figure out who you are you may have to deal with other ramifications as well.

Bank of America Plans Big Layoffs to Cut CostsBy NELSON D. SCHWARTZ

Published: August 19, 2011RECOMMENDTWITTERSIGN IN TO E-MAILPRINTREPRINTSSHAREBank of America is set to eliminate at least 3,500 jobs in the coming months, as the beleaguered financial giant seeks to cut costs and restructure amid deepening shareholder dissatisfaction.RelatedDealBook: Memo From Bank of Americas Chief Executive(August 19, 2011)Times Topic: Bank of America CorporationWith its stock down more than 50 percent since January, the job cuts by Bank of America may be only the start of a broader restructuring at the company, which is the nations largest bank. Brian T. Moynihan, the chief executive of the bank, has said that he hopes to trim quarterly expenses by $1.5 billion. Thousands more job cuts are likely in the months ahead.I know it is tough to have to manage through reductions, Mr. Moynihan wrote in a memo to the companys senior leadership late Thursday that outlined the cuts. But we owe it to our customers and our shareholders to remain competitive, efficient and manage our expenses carefully. In the memo, obtained by The New York Times, Mr. Moynihan said the companys broader revamping effort was nearing completion of its first phase, which examines the consumer business and support functions. A third and final review is set for early September. The company plans to announce the first results of that project next month, which could include further job cuts that would total more than 10,000.Mr. Moynihan said in the memo that the company had already begun to tell the 3,500 employees that their jobs were to be eliminated, and that the reductions would come throughout the company. Bank of America, which has roughly 280,000 employees, cut about 2,500 jobs in the first half of the year.Even more than its large rivals, Bank of America has been battered particularly hard by the bursting of the housing bubble and the surge in foreclosures. It has already suffered tens of billions in losses tied to its disastrous acquisition in 2008 of Countrywide Financial, the subprime lender that has come to epitomize the excesses of the housing boom of the last decade.Investors are also pressing the bank to buy back billions of dollars in securities it assembled from mortgages that later soured. In June, it agreed to pay a group of investors including Pimco, BlackRock and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York $8.5 billion to settle a portion of these claims. While the settlement represented the culmination of months of negotiations and was seen as an attempt by Mr. Moynihan to finally put Countrywides disastrous legacy behind the company, investors  remain skeptical.Earlier this month, American International Group, the giant insurer, filed suit against the company over mortgage backed securities it assembled, and investors fear the June settlement may actually spur more litigation, rather than resolve it.The latest job cuts, which were first reported on the Wall Street Journals Web site late Thursday, will also hit the companys Merrill Lynch unit. Bank of America agreed to acquire the firm at the height of the financial crisis in 2008. While Merrill has proved profitable more recently, trading volumes and the flow of deals have slowed substantially in recent months, making it vulnerable to further job reductions.Despite the huge settlements and other write-downs, Mr. Moynihan has said that he does not plan to issue more stock to raise new capital. Instead, the company has been engaged in the corporate version of a yard sale in recent weeks, raising billions of dollars as it offloads everything from its Canadian credit card business to several commercial real estate properties. In the recent market downturn, Bank of America shares have been especially hard hit.  Since the beginning of the year, Bank of America shares have fallen from $15 to a closing price of $7.01 on Thursday. While the markets reflect many economic factors we cannot control, we must stay focused on what we can control, Mr. Moynihan said in the memo.

I currently work for Bank of America.

If this relationship between a family member who was federal indicted and current employee, I agree a this needs to be looked into further. SVP of our company should be screened annually. This is important information that may have slipped thru the cracks.

Bank of America does not wish to have bad press.

By as prominently as possible associating her with wrong-doing that may or may not have been committed by someone associated with her, along with where she works for a living.  One part of the puzzle is complete.

Who are you, really?

Are you someone whose husband or boyfriend had and/or is having an affair with Elizabeth Jones Dudley?

Are you the estranged husband or boyfriend of Elizabeth Jones-Dudley, herself, trying to cause her problems because she has or is in the process of terminating the relationship with you?

Did she somehow get you fired from your place of employment or cause you some other sort of problem, perhaps because she rejected your advances or didn't promote you in a timely manner?

I tend to favor one of these three possibilities but I bet you can't guess which one.

This happened 14+ years ago.  Bank of America or this person doesn't seem to have ANYTHING to do with it other than some possible relationship with the persons involved.  The person posting these has posted numerous reports about the same thing.

So in your "legal opinion" this is not harassment or "cyber stalking" because the person listed is related to what the articles were about.  So by that "legal logic" the person posting this report they could then write a report on EVERY relative and the companies they work for just because they are related.

Banks need to do yearly background checks on their SVP and here is a perfect case of one bank that did not.
- What proof do you have that they didn't?  For all you know they did but since the person listed wasn't involved, the case had nothing to do with banking, and it was over a decade ago.

Why stop at SVP's.  A lower level employee at a branch who has more access to everyday transactions and client accounts is more capable of stealing or running scams than a higher level SVP in some office building.

There is nothing in the content that says Miss Dudley did anything wrong , just that she is related to someone who did.
- Well if it is it is NOT clear and that is the problem and indication that there is more history between the OP and the person listed than they have said.  What that relationship is we have no idea.  The title of the report just has her name and Bank of America.  The first line of the report is "FUEL TAX EVASION".   It take going through about 3/4 of the report to find one sentence where we find out the only relation this person has is as the daughter of one of the people.  In my totally non-legal opinion the intention of this report was to link her with this and the 1% that says she is only related does not override the 99% trying to push what ever the OP is trying to accomplish.

This is not STALKING or Harassment

#51Consumer Comment

Fri, August 19, 2011

Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual  by false accusations , a group of individuals, by false accusations, monitoring, making threats, identity theft, damage to data or equipment, the solicitation of minors for sex, or gathering information in order to harass. The definition of "harassment" must meet the criterion that areasonable person, in possession of the same information, would regard it as sufficient to cause another reasonable person.

Harassment  the act of systematic threats and demands.

The above complaint (if True) and of public and legal knowledge is legal.

As a Corporate attorney for 30 years this looks like the individual make claims of  STALKING or Harassment is covering the fact that this she is related to a person that was (from public online documents) that was federally convicted.

Banks need to do yearly background checks on their SVP and here is a perfect case of one bank that did not.

There is nothing in the content that says Miss Dudley did anything wrong , just that she is related to someone who did.
