First of all, I would like to say I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I was given on Monday August 4, 2008. As I sit on hold for over 30 minutes, I write this letter.

I have a credit card with Bank of America as well as a checking account. I have been a loyal customer for over a decade, but over the years have experienced many reasons to switch to another institution including numerous identity theft situations, outrageous penalty fees, and complete lack of communication.

This specific call was in regard to an unauthorized credit card charge, resulting in charging over the maximum amount. My most recent payment to the account was not posted either, and I still worry that my credit situation will continue to be in grave danger due to Bank of Americas lack of service.

If I had access to online banking this could be avoided, however since 2006 there has been numerous occasions where representatives have not found my account or say they will return my request and always fail to do so. As I am on hold with technical services to get these problems handled I grow continuously furious and hope this letter will raise issues of concern.

If these issues are not resolved immediately, I will be consulting legal council and will be canceling my accounts with Bank of America immediately.

By the way I have now been on hold for over forty-five minutes, and will be hanging up now. Your incompetence to serve individual needs will be reported.
