Bank of America lies even when telling the truth is easier. Nice to know my ATM showed over $200.00. So I withdraw when I am actually in the minus. Nice bunch of fees and penalties.

I ask for an online alert when I am nsf. Didn't get done until I began picketing and it magically started. Another bunch of fees.

Credit card? Watch it. I am being socked with an ever increasing fee and interest monthly for a cash advance. There is just one problem. I have never had a cash advance. And get this. American Auto Club has their logo on this card and sponsors it. So I ask them for help and their answer is they can't control Bank of America. Well they have that right. They answer to no one, that much is true. Maybe AAA should ask for their logo to be removed.

I am now up to $750.00 in fees because as we all know the s****.> And yes I know, I should have enough money in my account to cover checks at all times. And I should pay my credit card in full each month. But does my failure to do that make loan sharking OK?

I decided to picket Bank of America, my first amendment right. Well watch it at B of A Coffee Rd and Hageman in Bakersfield CA. Within minutes two police cars pulled up. The branch manager told them I was blocking customers from entering the bank. I am a paralegal and I know better legally, and why would I alienate them from my cause? Not to mention it is a good way to get my lights punched out. I was nowhere near any path, foot or car. And I offer, and continue to offer to take a polygraph. You won't see the B of A employee do that, I will bet $100. They were flat out lying I was blocking customers.

The officers admitted they had watched me and saw no obstructing and they left after observing me for 10 minutes.

Does anyone have a problem with a branch manager calling in an illegal false report, wasting police time, violating my first amendment rights, in short, lying, and yet managing money? I do.

And then there is my mortgage. Promised 5.1% by Bank of America Steven Hurd and Kevin Rende. I get 5.75% which costs me thousands and thousands moew. Stevie's answer? "Let's get past this." Of course, I am not going to back out after all the paperwork, hell, and deposit.

This bank is greedy, sneaky, dishonest and predatory. I am not paying my mortgage payment this month when they stole $750.00 from me.

And please readers don't say there is nothing illegal about what they have done. It is "legal" for me to cheat on my boyfriend too. It doesn't make it right.

""This bank is greedy, sneaky, dishonest and predatory. I am not paying my mortgage payment this month when they stole $750.00 from me.""

This is not a wise choice. You will only complicate matters and risk your home if you do this.

By all means fight the OD/NSF fees if you wish, but I don't think it's worth risking your home over $750.

As a paralegal you should know better. Your issue with them about the OD/NSF fees is not justification to withhold your mortgage payment.

Do not be surprised when they tack on fees to your mortgage if you do this.

No Bank is in charge of MANAGING your money, that is YOUR responsibility. They hold your money, and give you access to it, but they are not your babysitter or accountant. If you want someone to manage your account, then you need to hire someone. I am sure you can find an accountant that would be glad to do that for you for a few hundred dollars a month.

As to your issues. As much as the conspiracy nuts or people who want to play the victim card the bank does not have someone just sitting around watching your account to see what they can do to you. So no your picketing had nothing to do with getting more fees.

Without going into detail, because you probably will just ignore it. It is still possible to OD, even if you request to have the overdraft privilege ended.

The one thing on your credit card is obviously it is a transaction you recongized or you would have disputed it. So the question is what is the transaction that they claim is a Cash Advance that you say wasn't. If you don't know this is the first thing you have to find out. Based on that would determine your next step.

"Does anyone have a problem with a branch manager calling in an illegal false report, wasting police time, violating my first amendment rights, in short, lying, and yet managing money? I do."
- First they manager called and made a claim, it was not a "police report". As for waisting the police time, if they arrested everyone who waisted their time the jails would be in a lot worse shape than they are. The manager did not violate your first amendement rights..No one stopped you from picketing.

Also, not paying your Mortage for the fees that you "think" are fradulent is a very bad idea. Because this will just put you in arears with your mortgage, and you will still owe the fees. Even worse there is something known as the right to offset. This is a clause in your bank account agreement and the mortage that basically says if you become delinquent in one account(your mortage) they can pull money from another BofA account(your checking account) to make up for this delinquencey. So if you really are going to do this then you need to get all of your money out now.
