We have been trying to work with Bank of America on a Lower your payments Loan Modification since 4-09. With loss of hours and rages we had hoped they would help. We have had a loan on our home with another mortgage company and bank of america/countrywide bought it.

All I can say is Mr. Hernandez should not be working at Bank of America, he informed us that we should destroy our animals then we will have money to pay for our mortgage and tough we will Not help you in any way, maybe its a good thing that this happened

Because of Mr. Hernandez we have taken our banking needs saving, checking and cd to another bank. Not that they will be any better but at least I will not have to think of such a horrible Devil Person.

ADJUSTS TOO." - 7/16/2007. Three days later, on 7/19/2007, the Dow Jones closed at 14,000 for the first time in history. TWENTY MONTHS LATER, on March 9th 2009 (my birthday) it closed at its lowest level in many, many, many, years, didn't it? It closed at 6,547 on March 9th 2009.

'Google' this to read that quote- RIP OFF REPORT TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION USA MANIPULATION, and that quote appears in the 'Update' entitled- 'SUGGESTION'. Feel free to read the 3 poems posted in the Updates section too. Another prediction that was made in- 'FIX AMERICA POEM' came true, right? Here is that prediction:

The big shots keep cashing in stock

A CRASH is soon coming I fear

*It certainly seems as though that quote, & the prediction in- 'FIX AMERICA POEM' came true, wouldn't everyone NOW agree?

MAYBE BANK OF AMERICA TOOK OUT 'SECRET LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES' ON THEIR CUSTOMER'S PETS & THEY....

want to have 'DEATH SWEEPS' performed on people's pets so they can collect the benefits, right? It is possible these days to take out life insurance policies on pets, isn't it?

'Google' this- BANK OF AMERICA COMPLAINTS SECRET LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES, and read that article. Maybe Bank of America believes that their employees are just like pets, huh?

There are sometimes people with different priorities.  They want to keep their current status and expect everyone else to change for them.

The biggest question/issue with the OP is that they stated that they were going to move their Savings and CD's to another bank.  Isn't Savings and CD's for emergencies?  If possibly loosing your house isn't an emergency I don't know what is.  So why are they not using those to get through this rough time.  Instead being upset that the bank?

Will giving up a Pet or a single Life Insurance Policy matter...No.  But take a look at other items.

Cable/Satellite?  - Get rid of it.  For most people this is probably going to save around $100 a month.

High Speed Internet? Go from high speed to dial-up  could save another $20-$50 a month.

Cell Phones? - Get rid of them or change to a reduced plan for "emergencies".  This could probably save you another $50-$100 a month depending on what plans you have now.

Eating Out? - If you shop smart you can save another couple hundred dollars a month.

Entertainment - Do you go to movies?  A night at the movies for 2 can be easily $50.  Where a night IN on a DVD can be $10.

Part Time Job?  - While not always easy, have they tried to get another job.  Even a 5-10 hour a week job would help.

For most(admittedly not all) people even doing some of these things would be more than enough to make "ends meet".  Yes they have to give up some of their luxuries, but over the alternative of loosing their house is probably more desirable.

Part of the problem is the backlog of people wanting to modify their mortgages.  A majority of these people have not taken the serious steps to change their habbits and reduce their expenses.  If they do they would probably find out they don't need to modify their mortgage.  Thus giving the banks time to work on the people that actually are in need of it.  However, there is a point that even if you have done everything you can, and still can't afford it.  That you may need to think about giving up the house.

Don't listen to these people

Don't listen to these people they are nuts.....Sometimes we fall on hard time and destroying an animal to save $10. a week in dog food is insane .....I doubt that is going to put any dent into that payment....
And you don't deserve this at all....Some jobs had alot of cutbacks that put people in financial crisis where they otherwise would not have been....I am in this situation as well. I got my salary cut $ 20,000. this year ...and they want me to drop my $40. a month life insurance ....They can KMA ....That small amount will do nothing to pay my house payment......Put the blame where it lies on this government !
They can bail out everyone else try helping its people .....Give me back my full time job !

to a loan modification. I know it sucks to not afford mortgage payments but why should the bank help you? You seem to think you deserve this. Think again.

Its cruel, and inhumane, but if you cant afford your mortgage, you shouldn't be worrying about pets. Find them new homes until you can afford them.
