In 2009 my billing cycle for January, February, March, April, May and June were all 25 days and the corresponding due dates were between the 5th and 8th of the month.  I had my automatic bill pay set up to pay on the 2nd of the month.  In July they changed to a 20 day billing cycle but I didn't have a balance and didn't notice.  Then in August I did have a balance and paid 9/2 but they changed the due date to 9/1 due to a 20 day billing cycle.  When I called to complain they said that the billing cycle had always been 20 days and refused to refund the late fee as they do not make enough money on my account.  But, that I should be happy because recent legislation has mandated a 20 day minimum but Bank of America is pleasing the customer by giving us a 25 day billing cycle so my October payment will not be due until 10/9.   How convenient that they are able to change billing cycles to rip off unsuspecting customers!
