If you do banking with Bank of America or MBNA, check your online account. There seems to have been some sort of meltdown when the computer systems of the two banks merged. Charged-off accounts of years ago are suddently appearing in people's current online accounts...Try to Call for service, good luck. The phones have been jammed all day. This is a total meltdown of customer service!

MBNA the worst

Most credit card companies are to say the least irrepsonsable if not down right deceptive.
I have had experience with almost all of the magor credit card companies from Orchard to Chase to Citi to MBNA and several others.
I can tell you from experience MBNA is the worst of the worst
It was a nightmare for me trying to deal with MBNA. Even when I wanted to pay them off they made it difficult.

Finally I was able to pay them off, cut up my card, cancel their services, never to return.
My advice to anyone using MBNA is cancel them now, cut up you card and get as far away from them as possible.
