Bank of America ripoff bank from hell Louisville Kentucky
In July I bought a house, assuming a loan from Bank of America. The closing agents sent the first mortgage payment along with the closing papers to the Bank of America. I have made the subsequent monthly mortgage payments on time each month.
Since July, this bank has sent letters and phoned me on at least 20 occasions saying I am behind one payment. I have faxed copies of the checks 2 times to 2 different people. I have spoken to 13 people about this matter. My bank, myself, and some manager named Nicolas had a conference call about the payments. Most of the people I talk with treat me like some sort of deadbeat and simply refuse to listen to me when I explain that I have made all the payments.
I wrote a certified letter to them on September 18 (no response). I have spoken to managers - no satisfaction. I have been kept on hold for 20 minutes or longer. Nearly every day I get a "recorded message" to call this bank from hell.
My excellent credit now shows a 30-days past due on it. I'm so stressed I can hardly work. The only time I can talk with them is in the morning before I go to work because I am a teacher and can't get to a phone during the day.
If I ever get this straightened out, I plan to refinance with any other company. I am in the process of cancelling all my credit cards with this bank from hell.
