Complaint Review: Bank Of America

I'm a small business owner dealing with BOA for the last three years. I deposit 10-15 checks a day totaling 3 to 4 thousand dollars a day. I can count on one check coming back from time to time because my clients either bounce them to me or maybe give me incorect info, ABA or account #. Over the last two to three weeks, when money is removed from my account, I call BOA to find out the name on the check in question. Six times they have misidentified the client who had bounced the check. One of my agents call their client and as per BOA's info, get a replacement check only to find out a few days later that we were given wrong information and the check that bounced was a completely different client. One one occasion, a check deposited into my account on 1/19/2006. This Item was returned to me a few days later NSF. Without me redepositing the check again, this check was cleared out of my clients account at First USA on 2/16/2006.


BOA alleges that they never got paid. Even after putting BOA on a confrence call with First USA and First USA Confirming that that check was paid to my Company Through BOA, BOA aledges that they still don't have the money! This is after 8 or 9 phone calls and spending a total of over 8 hours on the phone, no answers. Someone once told me wast my time, not my money, I'll always make more money but how can you pay me for my time? Once my time is wasted it's gone forever and can't come back to me. BOA is wasting my time and pointing fingers at everyone and making lame brain excuses for something thats their fault.


Finally on a Friday I was told that they would credit my account the $350 on Wednesday. Wednsday came and went and after spending 3 hours on the phone finding out why I didn't get the credit, Nobody even knows about my problem to begin with and now they want to launch an investigation! If BOA made a profit of $16,000,000,000 last year, why I have to wait three days for something that I never got!
