After one missed payment Bank of America began calling and harassing me and my family on the phone. In the first two weeks that the payment was overdue, we received at least 20 phone calls at home, including 3 in one day. If I don't take the call myself, they give details to whoever answers.

I have received two calls at work, despite my request on the first call to never do that again. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act prohibits calls at work if a request has been made not to do so + they are not allowed to give details to anyone but me. I've written two letters to the company, which they have barely had time to receive, so I am not sure if this will help change matters. I've also sent a "secure email" to which their response was a phone number to call.

Today, the message they left for me at work also gave a phone number to call, which is an automated system and if I don't have my account number handy, I can't even gain entry or speak to anyone at all. So I tried to get into my online account and they have eliminated my profile from their system. I don't exist anymore. All of this over being a couple of weeks late. Another bill should be in the mail already and due soon, but I have not even received that yet. I'll never do business with them again.
