Complaint Review: Bank One

At BankOne's Franklin, WI Branch's suggestion, I elevated my accounts into a higher risk/intrest bearing accounts. Almost immediately I was charged service fees for "Insufficent balance" when no money had be moved/removed. When more money was deposited, I still received service charges.

When I questioned the branch manager, Sabrina, she acussed me of opening an account for which I didn't qualify. I asked her to question the "Banking Specialist" that advised and made the account changes. I also pointed out to Sabrina that it was BankOne employee that made the changes, not I as I cannot operate their computers systems.

I also, at BankOne's advice, opened 2 Education accounts for my children. When these accaounts were closed/moved to a different bank, I suffered more than an 80% loss in the investments.

Manager Sabrina attempted to discuss these problems in the lobby in front of the public. I refuse to discuss my finances with anyone within listening distance of the public. When I suggested we move into her office, she insisted that the door be left open. I was accompanied by my wife at all these meetings.

I contacted the SE Wisconsin District Manager that oversees this Manager and met the same level of unprofessional conduct.

BankOne employees are not held accountable for their actions and aren't hired for the knowledge. This manager has a policy that reaks of FRAUD and EMBEZZLEMENT and is "unchecked/working with" by the District Manager for SE Wisconsin. Your money is NOT SAFE as the employees are hired "off the street with nothing more than a pretty face". The employees are not bonded and, as I found, waiting to rip you off. Ask them to show ID, BankOne gives them none!!!

Save your hard earned money - BOYCOTT BANKONE!!!
