Paid $2800 for an 04 Chevy Malibu and less than a week later, the car is dead and won't start. Unable to jump it. I'm a single working mom trying to get to work and they refuse to take the car back and return my money. They say they will "help" pay for repairs. I acceptable.

They sold me a 2004 dodge intrepid for 1500 dollars and the car engine went out within a and broke down on me on freeway. Water pump, serpentine belt and car was about to catch fire. Triple a had to come tow it.i called and told them what happened and the salesman Goran told me tough luck I'm sorry you bought as is. We in the middle of a pandemic and they robbing people I trustee him hd gave me his word the car ran good with no issues

If you read the post, you would have read that I’m the attorney not the single mother. The car was not sold as is.

Warranty is irrelevant

The warranty is irrelevant. As a car dealer, the car you sell should run after 5 days of purchase. If that’s not the case, anyone can sell a vehicle, make money, and not have any responsibility for their actions. When the dealership says, we will "help” you pay for the repairs. The sale of the car was less than 5 days old so they should pay for all of the repairs. This is a legitimate case for fraud and is a common lawsuit that is filed and won everyday. My firm has won dozens and dozens of these cases.

You bought a 16 year old car without having it checked out by a mechanic correct?? Did you buy AS IS?? That seems to be left out of your report. Did you get a warranty? And what does your status as a single mother have to do with this?? IF you bought the car as is then you are responsible for any issues after you bought it.

I'm curious...What does the WARRANTY say?
