Barcareers.com stole my money and sent me a fake bartending certificate, Internet

I receive an email from bar careers around august 2009, because they saw my resume on careerbuilder.com. they said that i could be making about $20-$60 in my area which is in bridgeport, CT. I gave them a call they explain to me that I will have to complete their training online and then they will send me a certificate, even though i told them I already had a bartending license.


It sounded good so I paid them the $150.00. I completed the training that same day and filled out my profile on the website, doing everything they told me to do, I called them and said that I'm done with everything, they said they were going to give me a call back in a couple days with some interviews.


Two weeks later, I still haven't receive a call from or got my certificate from barcareers informing me of an interview, and when i check my page, all that's on there is wait staff jobs. So i called them, they gave me the run around telling me that places hire bartenders from within and don't wait on them for everything i need to show some initial and go out there myself, because employees like that.


I said I paid barcareers to get me some interviews and i haven't got one call from anyone, so I asked to a manager, that's when I couldn't get to talk to noone, because the phone keep getting disconnected.


After a month pass I called and asked for my money back, they said I'll have to mail in the manual back in and i'm only going to get a partial refund, because some of the money goes to processing fee which is non refundable, I returned the manual a week later my credit card was charged another $14.99 which is a monthly reaccuring fee, which I didnot approve.


Needless to say I haven't receive a refund yet, and I'm still calling them everyday and i can't seem to get in contact with anyone to get my refund back.
