Complaint Review: Barclays - Juniper Credit Card

Barclay's Barclay - Juniper Credit Card Reduced Credit Limit For Customer in Good Standing Damaging Credit Wilmington Delaware

In an attempt to acquire a buffer for a maxed out card, I did not make a purchase for two months. As soon as I had about $600 to work with, I attempted to make a purchase and was denied due to the company lowering my available balance by the same amount leaving me with no available credit. I was very unsatisfied with the customer service, and was simply given an address to send a written complaint. I will be transferring my balance immediately, and I recommend for others to do the same.

A lot of credit card companies are lowering people's credit limits. They are well within their rights to do so in order to protect themselves from losing money. They can also raise your interest rate and minimum payment if they want to, based on your credit history.
