I received a check in my mail for $3530.00. I was to cash the check then pay them $399 + $100 + $150 + $2980 for a total of $3539.00. I had received something similar before and went as far as to take the check to the bank. Fortunately, the bank that the check was drawn on was also the bank I do business with and they told me that it was not a legitimate check.

This time, the check is from Barclays Bank PLC and looks real. The other time, I was able to get a hold of the company whom the scammers used for their checks told me that their checks were not pink. This time, I couldn't find anyone to contact but the scam is the same. Remember, anytime you are asked to pay for a service that you are going to render to them, it is a scam. Too good to be true, it probably is.
