Complaint Review: Bargain House LLC

Bargain House LLC Nick Nichols Sold a tablet with no serial number or model number on the device. After charging the device, we found some sample videos that were from Chinese origin. The samples were of excellent quality, but when we tried taking videos and pictures with the camera, we found them to be of very poor quality. We connected the device to the USB port on my wife's laptop and the computer did not recognize it. There are no drivers for this tablet that exist. Nick also claimed that the product can perform Word, Excel, Office functions, but we could find none. When we called him with our questions within hours after purchase, he did not return our calls. We have called him numerous times over a period of several days with no response. We got ripped off for $219 for a product that is totally inferior. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY!!! wISCONSIN

We purchased a tablet from this individual that did not have any serial number on the product itself.  After charging the device, we found sample videos appearing to be of Chinese origin.  However, when we took our own pictures and videos, they were of inferior quality.

We had contacted Nick within hours of purchasing the tablet for $219 because we had questions for him.  He did not return our call.  We called him again and again, over a period of several days and got no return phone call from him.  My wife connected the tablet to her laptop via the USB drive, and her computer did not recognize it.  She even searched the Internet for drivers for the device and found none.

Nick claimed that the device could communicate back and forth with our laptop, but it would not work.  We contacted several electronic retail establishments (like Best Buy and some others) and they told us that this device is a knock off worth between $30 and $50.

We want our money back, but we only have a phone number to contact this guy.  Our advice to anyone considering purchasing from BargainHouse LLC (Nick), do not do it.  Save your money and purchase from a reputable source.

Here is an update to the report filed by us the first time.  A guy by the name of Aaron Lee telephoned us and told us to print a retraction to the first report, which we did.  Mr. Lee contacted us after we tried for almost a week to get in touch with the original salesman, Nick, who never returned our telephone calls.  Aaron stated on the phone that he would send us a new model of a tablet that we purchased as a birthday gift for a family member.  We were ready to ship the package to the address he gave us when the person who the tablet was for told us it was not compatible with her laptop computer, and we should ask for our money back.

We were in contact with the "Customer Service" person and she did not appear to know who Aaron was, nor did she know who we were, according to a text message from her.

We called the original salesman again over and over, with no returned calls.  All we want is our darn money back!

All we can say is:  Do not purchase anything from BargainHouse LLC!

We would like to post our retraction to the previous report!  The company representative contacted us and will be sending us a newer, more updated tablet.  They will be sure to test all the features so it's ready to go when we receive it.

He gave us the address and name of person who is the customer representative at BargainHouse.  The company who manufactures the Android tablet is making good on everything.
