Barnabeez Discount Camera ripoff - He told me that they would not refund the money unless the lens was returned. I cannot return what I did not recieve. Brooklyn New York
I ordered a $500.00 camera lens from this business, AKA Visual Digital. I waited several weeks for the lens and they would not provide me a tracking number even after numerous attempts and promises. I then recieved a letter stating the lens was on back order and would be shipped in two weeks.
Two weeks later when attmpting to get a tracking number was told it would be another two weeks on back order. I told them I wanted to cancel the order and would get the lens through another source. I waited a month for the money to be credited to my account. When this did not happen I called them to find out about the refund.
They told me the lens had been sent out and their records showed that the lens was left on the porch. I told him that UPS will not leave a package on porch without getting approval to do so. I am then told the lens was sent through the US Postal Service. I informed him that the USPS does NOT deliver mail and all mail must be picked up at the local post office. He told me that they would not refund the money unless the lens was returned. I cannot return what I did not recieve. HE told me I would have to file a claim through my credit card company. So now I wait.
From what I have read online several comapnies are tied into this Visual Digital Company.
