Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino Scott Kidd made me work X-Mas Eve, X-Mas morning then fired me. Lakeside California
I call Scott Kidd and say "I'm scheduled to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Night, and Christmas Morning. I am the restaurant manager with the most senority, why is this happening?"
He replies "Work those shifts, and we will make it up to you with extra days off."
I close the restaurant Christmas Eve, I OPEN Christmas morning, I can not see my family. I am thinking Scott Kidd will take care of me.
Two days later-- I get fired. No severance, no compensation for vacation pay. No vacation pay paid out, just fired. NO REASON!!!!
I am also the most educated restaurant manager with my MBA. f*k Barona's management. If the union comes and asks you to sign-- SIGN!!! Is Clifford LaChapa still the Tribal Chief? Because they are a bunch of drunks with more money than they can handle.
I made $30,000 a year as a restaurant manager, and worked 60 hours a week. f*k you Scott Kidd. You cooking skills fuking suck. Fiesty Kate's is f***ing disgusting.

Scott Kidd is gone now. They now have a new a-hole that makes Scott look like a saint. His name is Keith McManus and he made my life living hell!! I was at Barona for a year. I have left there almost 2 months ago and still wake up every morning and thank my lucky stars that I do NOT have to see/deal with that big JERK. I will tell my story next time! So stay tuned.
