Having purchased a house from Barratt Southern Counties, there were problems from before I took the keys. Items ordered were wrong .


The list of problems reached four pages and were ignored for months, then when anything was done, a week at a time of disruption only to have the problem still exist. Only once I took drastic action 2 months ago, did they pay attention, however only mirror items are fixed, the major ones still remain.


Items such as severe cold in parts of the house due to little to no insulation, dampness in other parts, 11 scratched windows, all to be replaced. Some with large gouges. Scratched baths, the list goes on.


Doesn't matter if you complain to the very top , the same result - huge frustration.


You have been warned. The development is in Redhill, Surrey. However I will NEVER buy another Barratt home again, I like many of my neighbours regret buying here.
