Complaint Review: Bascom's Chop House

I was given $300.00 worth of Gift Certificates for advertising in a wedding book called "the wedding Planner" becuse I have a business related to this type of people "Limosine  Business". About several months ago I used $150.00 one night for a to go order with no problem. I have had two (2) heart attaches and a stroke and don't get out much anymore. I placed the remaining Gift Certificates on CraigsList for sale for $75.00 for the remaining $150.00 of Gift certificates. I was contacted by severak buyers and we met at Bascom's to verify they were good. When the guy took one inside to check on them he came back with the manager that said he has been with Bascom's for 11 years, and knew of them and the guy Greg Snow that gave then to me. He looked at them never said they were counterfiet or anything about the certificates except he told my buyer that he would NOT honor them with No explanation OTHER then he was not going to honor them, so I lot the sale and $150.00 in value. They are not dated and have NO exploration date so why are they not going to be honored. There is no place for them to be signed and they are numbered so they should be honored I feel.  After this I would not recomend this company to anyone ever again. I guess small claims court is next along with other complaints.
