I was arrested for having a wreck and not giving a breath sample.  Upon riding to get booked, the sheriff took me to the hospital in cuffs and gave me the choice of going to jail or getting a CT scan of my head.  I told them that I did not want treatment, and I was told that it was either go to jail or get  the CT scan by the sheriff.  I opted for the CT scan, which came back negative, and after the results, I was cuffed and taken to jail anyway.  I didn't want to go to the hospital, declined EMS.  I feel that this was a forced issue if given a choice, then taken anyway.

You got arrested because your were under the influence of something.  No police department asked for a breath test unless they suspect you are high/drunk after a wreck.  You were taken to jail because you were impaired so what are you gonna do?? Sue the Police Department??

Your post should be completly ignored. Its obvious by your own words that you were driving impared. The CT scan was to ensure you didnt DIE while in custody. Get over it and STOP DRIVING MESSED UP!!! How many people are you going to kill before you realize that the 4000lb vehicle your driving is dangerous under NORMAL circumstances, even more so when drunk or impared. If you had not been driving impared this situation wouldnt have heppend to you. And dont think you can backtrack on your own words. YOU were arrested and cuffed and taken to jail, this means they had MORE then usual suspicion that you were messed up and driving. They dont just take ppl to jail for a wreck. There has to be substantial damages.
