When deciding to do business with Bathfitter.Ask the following questions. The lifetime warranty is that for workmanship as well. The workmanship is the most critical part of the deal. They say lifetime but that is just for the "acrylic" a fancy word for hard plastic.Look up definition for acrylic in dictionary.Remember workmanship is where you want the long warranty on.The thin plastic walls they put up can easily become unglued. They will also go over wet spots and weak wood make sure you have a professional carpenter look at walls and floor base before covering up with their walls. Its about a eighth of a inch thick the walls they use.The tub liner is the sample they show you its a half inch thick.Never agree to the initial quote they will go lower they are like car salesman. Also they owe me money and they have refused to pay me.If you own a mobile home or have a fibeglass unit as a tub they will rip it out costs way to high.I have seen where some poor people in old mobile homes because of easy financing will purchase the easy finance pkg.Costs is 4,000.00 plus usually the third to a half of the trailers worth.Dont do it have a mobile home place do it or go to lowes. It looks attractive on the outside but focus on the "WORKMANSHIP"warranty they rarely bring that up.If six months go by wall peels or tub floats your out of luck! It looks good but you have to look at the wormanship!!!!!Get it in writing. My experience is they owe me money and will not pay!!REMEMBER WORKMANSHIP WORKMANSHIP WORKMANSHIP!!!!!!
