Complaint Review: Bathroom Clearance - Colordo Bath - Upscale Bath

Bathroom Clearance - Colordo Bath - Upscale Bath, Gave me a serverly damaged steam shower and will not return emails or phone calls, he gave me the wrong number to contact him, he totally ripped me off 2000.00. This company needs to be held repsonsible for their actions. Commerce City Colorado

I purchased a steam shower from the Bathroom Clearance AKA Colorado Bath AKA Upscale Bath ( Ebay Store) In mid October of 2007. The product arrived to us on Oct 30th and was severely damaged. However there was no visible damage to the packaging. It was not until a few days later that we unpackaged the products to discover the shower wall was cracked in countless places, jets were broken, the mirrors were broken and a piece of the plumbing connected to the main tub was also cracked. I contact Upsale Bath and they wanted proof, so I emailed them pictures of the damage on 2 occasions. I did not hear from them for almost 2 weeks as they were ignoring my emails.

I filed a claim with paypay and with in minutes he responded to my email. He said someone had died and that's why he did not get back to me. He suggested that I have the components removed from the tub wall and hire a plastic maker to remove all parts and have the parts installed into one that the plastic maker could make me or I could have the jets and plumbing put behind drywall and tile over it. I told him no, I want a new one sent to me and that if I wanted tile I would not have bought his product, all I wanted is what I bought and paid for. He responded if I had a new one I would have sent you one all ready. I then decided to investigate his claim that he did not have another one in stock. I simply visited his ebay store (Upscale Bath) and saw that he had a current listing of the exact same product that we purchased and asked him to send us that one or he could refund my money and we would send his broken product back and he could have it repaired himself. That was the last communication between us as he disputed my paypal claim and refused to respond to any of my emails.

I am in the process of the "waiting game". The facts remain that it has been almost 2 months now and nothing is resolved, I still have a broken product and I am still without a new shower/tub and this crook has my money.

I am strongly urging everyone who is thinking of buying from this company to beware, as you will most likely get ripped off!
