What a deal I thought! A one-time $200 enrollment fee and a $10 a month processing fee was supposed to get me an unsecured mastercard with a $2000 credit line. I should have known it was bs. First, the card doesn't come and doesn't come and doesn't come. First call, I'm told 10 days for delivery. Then, it becomes 2 weeks from the date my bank transferred the funds. And then, it was 4-6 weeks. When I finally get something, it says a stored value card is on the way. Oh, and by this time another company that BABC works with had deducted $54.90 from my account for an unlimited long distance card (which I never received). This debit overdrew my checking and cost me another $31 in bank fees. When I call the ld company, they tell me too bad, so sad, you've been had. Repeated phone calls to BABC's 1-800 number gets me nowhere. "Sorry, our computer is down. Call back later or leave a number." I call corporate hq and get no answer until I just punch a bunch of buttons at random. I get an answering machine, and ask if the letters FBI mean anything. After the run-around, I'd found out the FBI had raided one of their offices. I call the FBI, the attorney generals offices in AZ, FL, and Washington, DC. I call my bank and explain my story. Anna at the bank tells me I'm not the only person who's been scammed by these dolts. All charges from my account are removed, and tomorrow I'm changing my bank account. I'm going to pursue this until these m-f's get what they deserve--a stiff fine and a couple years in prison. Chuck Tucson, Arizona
