On the first of August, I noticed that our refrigerator was not cold. My wife and I emptied it, then called our home warranty company. They set us up with a claim number and a company to repair it. Being a Friday, I already knew it would be Monday or later to get it fixed. I called Bay To Bay Appliance Repair by Stephed Falkenstein, the repair company, and was told that Wednesday Morning of the next week was the first available. I spoke top my wife and we agreed that would have to be.

Now my wife and I are older, and have adopted three grandchildren ages 4,6, and 9. We knew this would be a hardship, but life is what it is. Between late Friday afternoon, and TODAY
It is my opinion that the work was not done because it is about a 30 minute drive from their house/office to mine. They even called the warranty company to get an emergency upgrade to the call, I guess for more money, but the warranty company told them no. I had told them Wednesday would be OK. I do not want to upset my warranty company, as I pay a lot for the protection. At Noon Wednesday, I called my warranty company to check on things, and was told that Bay To Bay Appliance Repair had called them, and canceled or opted out of this repair, and never bothered to call me. How is that possible, that in today's economic stress a company would turn away work, after setting a time to do it? It is my hope that Bay To Bay Appliance Repair is very liquid in funds, because my warranty company made notes on them. What about the morale issue of keeping your word, or appointment? How can I bill them for a missed appointment?

Anyway, beware of them, their business ethic appears to be less than desirable, which now makes me question their skills and abilities to properly repair things and not shortcut and perform secondary work. I WILL NOT USE THEM for the simple reasons that I have raised about ethics and skills.

Call me mad
